What we make
Blinds & Shades
Wood, faux wood and vertical blinds, plus cellular, roller, roman and woven wood shades, all built to exact measurements. Choose your style, your materials and your system.
Drapery & Curtains
Custom drapery made locally and hand finished, in linen, velvet and silk blends, with blackout or sheer options. Choose the fabric, the hardware and the look with Alicia.
Shutters & Motorized
Plantation shutters that suit century homes and bright County kitchens, plus motorized coverings you can run from a remote, an app or your voice. Great for tall windows and hard-to-reach spots.
Not sure what you need?
Most people don't walk in asking for a specific blind. They come in with a problem: too much glare, not enough privacy, a bedroom that never gets dark. Start with what is bothering you and we will point you to the fix.
I want privacy without losing natural light
Sheer and light-filtering shades soften the daylight, keep your view and give you privacy from the street. We will show you how much you can see out and how little anyone can see in.
Glare and sun are fading my floors and furniture
Solar and roller shades cut glare and block UV rays while keeping the view of the yard or the lake. We will match the fabric to how much sun each window gets.
My bedroom never gets dark enough
Blackout drapery is the classic answer for true darkness, and room-darkening cellular shades are a lovely, tidy option too. Many people pair the two.
My house is drafty and the heating bills show it
Cellular shades, like Duette and Architella from Hunter Douglas, trap a layer of air at the window to help reduce heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer.
I have a big window or a patio door
Vertical blinds and panel track glide aside when you need to walk through, and full-length drapery frames a large window beautifully. We will talk through which suits your door and your style.
Some of my windows are hard to reach
Motorized coverings raise and lower with a remote, an app or your voice, which is perfect for tall windows, high windows and anywhere a cord is a nuisance.
I love the idea of layering shades with custom drapery
It is one of our favourite looks. A shade handles everyday light and privacy, and custom drapery adds softness, colour and a finished feel on top.
Window coverings that fit the window and the house
Choosing window treatments can feel overwhelming. There are hundreds of fabrics, dozens of lift systems, and every window in your home is a different size and shape. In the Quinte region that is doubly true. A century home on Belleville's east hill has deep sills and tall sashes. A County farmhouse has wide, old-glass windows that catch the light all day. A lakefront cottage in Prince Edward County wants glare control without losing the view.
We listen first, then guide you toward the best solution for each room: cellular shades for a drafty bedroom, wood blinds for a sunlit living space, or layered drapery for a dining room. Nothing off the shelf, nothing guessed. We come to your home, measure every window, and build around what we find.
